Up to 40% Savings on Green Electricity Access for Corporates in Malaysia - Go Solar Now

On 29 August 2025, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) announced a significant reduction of up to 40% in the System Access Charge (SAC) and Community Access Charge (CAC) for businesses adopting corporate green electricity through two key initiatives:
Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme (CRESS)
Community Renewable Energy Aggregation Mechanism (CREAM)
What Does This Mean for Businesses?
Both CRESS and CREAM are designed to give corporations and industries direct access to green electricity from renewable energy developers via the national grid.
