NOVA Programme Guidelines for Solar PV Installation
Purpose and Objectives:
Enable self-consumption of solar energy with provisions for exporting excess energy.
Regulate technical, application, and operational aspects of solar PV installations.
Eligibility:
Open to non-domestic consumers (commercial, industrial, mining, and agricultural).
Previous participants in other solar PV programs are ineligible.
Installation Types and Capacities:

Energy credits cannot offset minimum monthly charges.
Technical Requirements:
Compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards is mandatory.
Connection assessment studies are required for installations exceeding 72kW.
Application Process:
Submission through the MyTNB Portal, with fees applicable.
CAS (Connection Assessment Study) may be required depending on capacity.
